10 Things You MUST Do To Be An Organized Caregiver, by Organizing Expert, Debbye Cannon

In the early 1980’s, I was caring for my 2 children (both under two years old, & in cloth diapers!) and life was absolutely eating me alive! I had the responsibilities of wife, mother, homemaker and I was endeavoring to run a substantial home-based business. I found that although my business was EXPLODING, my home life was IMPLODING! What WAS I thinking?By late afternoon, when I needed to be preparing dinner, I’d find myself collapsed in my kitchen from low blood sugar, surrounded by my little ones without a CLUE about what I could assemble for dinner. There would be pasta, but no sauce, meat frozen solid and no side dishes in my pantry. My house felt a mess. Laundry was piled high and the floors were so sticky I feared walking through the kitchen!I decided to create some shortcuts. I created a system for more than just surviving my life. Pretty soon I was actually thriving, and my friends noticed. By popular demand, I began teaching local workshop groups. The Butler family encouraged me to publish my system. The first edition was published in September of 1988, a second printing followed in January 1997 and a third edition in 2006.Prompted to share my systems and techniques, I have now become the SMARTcut® Expert. I am passionate about helping way past busy entrepreneurs especially Caregivers, who are struggling with the juggling. I hope my work will give you the time and energy to reach more of your personal dreams, serve your family, church and community in ways that really make a difference. Click here to listen:

Tragedies Can Be a Good Thing, Paraplegic Andrew Auguno of Disabled Life Media

In the summer of 2009, Andrew crashed his motorcycle that left him with a T7 spinal cord injury. He continued on despite the changes to his life and began putting his experiences online through his YouTube channel: “Angl747″. He just wanted to make videos about the things he did and the places he went and those experiences to share with the online community. He also thought, what if there was more I can try to do? The name, DisabledLifeMedia.com is a name he kicked around but the word "disabled" legibly implies "incapacitation" and he didn't like being referred to as "disabled". In fact, he struggled with it after his injury and even though he knew he would most likely always be referred to as "disabled" from society standards,he realized that the word can have a profound affect on the way he looked at himself, the way he is looked at, and how our community as a whole, is perceived. But he is not and our disabled community is not incapacitated, they are "THIS-Abled" to do what they strive for and that is how he ended up crossing out the "dis" and placing "this" above it. Having the opportunity to do what he loves and contribute to the community by involving people with disabilities, is truly a remarkable feeling for him. Join Dave Nassaney, The Caregiver's Caregiver, author of numerous articles and books, speaker, life coach, and radio talk-show host for caregivers who are burned out, but his most important role is being a caregiver to his lovely wife, Charlene, who's speech impaired and paralyzed on the right side from a stroke in 1996. His radio show, and his latest book, "The Caregiver's Caregiver; A Guide To Avoiding Burnout" was written to help caregivers avoid burnout and survive the grief process.

Shame, Perfectionism, Worry, Discrimination, Abandonment, Damaged Self-Worth, Caregiving

Listen to Maryann Ehman's Story. Maryann was a highly skilled and educated professional, prosecuting attorney, and ministry leader, Maryann struggled with oppressive perfectionism, shame, and worry formed early on by childhood abuse, discrimination, and abandonment. External cultural expectations on women in the workforce and the church, caused further damage to her sense of worth and value. However, in His faithfulness, God reshaped her mindset and broke through its limitations when He put the study of His favor in front of her day after day for over a year and a half. Today Maryann leads and coaches those who believe that God has called them to more, but don’t necessarily have the clarity they need, strong sense of their value and identity, or the strategies and systems they need to implement their calling. Suffering burnout 3 time herself, she is an expert in guiding Caregivers in ways to avoid it.Join Dave Nassaney, at Dave, The Caregiver's Caregiver Radio Program Today at 3:30pm PST. (24/7 afterwards).  We have a different guest every Saturday at 3:30 pm PST. They just might pick up a tip or two that could make all the difference in the world between surviving, or going over the edge and getting closer to burning out.

My Tribute to Andrae’ Crouch; By His Friends & Former FB Admin, Dave Nassaney – Caregiver

Call in TODAY to speak with Dave Nassaney, former Facebook Administrator to Andrae' Crouch (currently at 81,000 followers) and Andrae's closest friends, to share funny "Andrae' stories" and the good times we all had with him celebrating his zest for life. (Tuesday, 1/13/15, at 2pm, PST, (4pm CST, 5pm EST), at (213) 943 3630.  Those who knew him well are missing his beautiful spirit already, and his huge fan base will definitely be missing his timeless new anointed songs and arrangements! For those of you who had not heard, Andrae' Crouch, The God Father of Contemporary Gospel Music, died at age 72 from complications from Saturday's heart attack. Andrae' was an innovator, a path-finder, a precursor in an industry noted for its conservative, often derivative approach to popular music. He combined gospel and rock, flavored it with jazz and calypso as the mood struck him and the song called for it, and is even one of the founders of what is now called “praise and worship” music. He took risks with his art and was very, very funky when he wanted to be.When Michael Jackson or Madonna or Quincy Jones needed a gospel song or a gospel chorus, they called Andrae. That’s his music on the soundtrack to The Color Purple (where he earned an Oscar nomination), the Broadway musical The Lion King, and the pop songs “Man in the Middle” and “Like a Prayer.”His first gospel group included Billy Preston, Elvis recorded one of his songs.
