Being a parent of a “special needs” child is a very demanding caregiver task. It’s a double whammy! All parents are already caregivers in a sense, but when that child has special needs, like autism, MS, blindness, or anything that requires assistance for disabilities that may be medical, mental, or psychological, it can be overwhelming.
